PLC Interface: 

• Each vacuum relay operates at 24VDC and requires a continuous 100mA of current to hold the contacts closed. The initial current draw to close the contacts is slightly higher so the control power source and opto-isolator or relay should be suitably rated. The relay’s coil is bypassed with a capacitor and a quench diode to act as a snubber for any inductive currents.
